But actually loads of artists do absolutely enormous things where they make huge paintings. But we're gonna do a warm up because you might think that art is sitting down quietly at a table doing something very small. While getting your stuff ready, if you need to run off and get something that's fine, you can always catch up. I'm gonna say hi to Ike and Charlotte in Stroud. Don't choose anything that you're not allowed to cut up, because otherwise I'll get in trouble and you'll get in trouble. Make sure that you're allowed to cut them up. And for the second one, you will need some bits of magazine or newspaper or comics. I've got pencils and pens and crayons in case you want to do a bit of colouring in. On anything social, if you use hashtag #TateKids we will all be able to see what each other are making. So if you've got a Grown-Up with you, ask them to share your artworks on the hashtag #TateKids. In fact, I'd love to see all of your artworks. ![]() And if you do that, I'd love to see them. But if you haven't got scissors, see if you can do it by ripping up some of these bits of paper. ![]() Well, I think I'll be easier with scissors. So I've got glue sticks because I think they're a bit easier for today and I've got safe scissors. Because collage is cutting and sticking, you're going to need some glue. So if you need to run and get some paper now and coloured paper or plain paper, all fine. But if you've got white paper, that's also great. First of all, should we just check that we've got what we need? What you're gonna need today because we're making collage is some paper. ![]() I'm ready to make some art with you today.
